The opposition Voice of the People Party (VPP) has urged the State government to expand the Meghalaya House, Vellore in order to provide affordable accommodation to people, who are travelling to Vellore for seeking medical treatment.

Tynsong said the government has already got the sanction for the construction of the circuit house or Meghalaya House.

The State government is ready to earn some revenue after tendering the ground floor of the Meghalaya House, Kolkata, which was lying unutilized for the past 15 years.
