Together with the rest of the country eligible voters at Tura took the voter’s pledge today at an elaborate function organized by Deputy Commissioner (Election) commemorating the 14th National Voters Day at DRDA Conference Hall, Tura. The theme for this year’s National Voters Day is “Nothing like Voting, I Vote for Sure”, which is a continuation of last year's theme.

On the 14th National Voters Day, the Deputy Commissioner Election Branch, West Jaintia Hills District, organised a program on Thursday at the Election Branch compound in Jowai to present Voter ID Cards to newly enrolled voters.

Meghalaya observed the annual National Voters Day 2024 on Thursday, at the U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong, with the governor of Meghalaya, Phagu Chauhan gracing the event as the chief guest.
