The theme for the 2024 National Voter’s Day, ‘Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure,’ resonated with the essence of celebrating voters and expressing the sentiments and aspirations associated with participating in the democratic process.

National Voters’ Day, observed on January 25 every year, serves as a reminder of citizens’ fundamental right to vote and underscores its pivotal role in shaping the nation’s future. This year’s celebration holds particular significance with the General Elections approaching, and the Meghalaya Election Department is actively spreading awareness to encourage increased voter turnout in the state.
