A POSCO court has sentenced a 58-year-old doctor in Meghalaya to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting a minor in his clinic. The sentencing relates to a case against the doctor in July 2020, in Mairang in Eastern West Khasi Hills district.
After six-long-years, a rape victim and her family have received some sort of consolation after the prime accused in the case was found guilty by a POSCO in Tura, West Garo Hills.
