Deputy Chief Minister in charge Home (Police) Prestone Tynsong has informed that the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance government will soon take up with the Centre for speedy implementation of the inner line permit (ILP) and inclusion of Khasi and Garo languages in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India.
Deputy Chief Minister in charge PWD (Roads) Prestone Tynsong on Tuesday reviewed road projects implemented by the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) in Khasi-Jaintia Hills and Garo Hills region.
