Annoyed at frequent power cuts as well as prolonged power outages, around 150 residents, primarily senior citizens, teachers, and local inhabitants from the Purakasia area protested at the office of the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MECL) in Dalu, West Garo Hills on Wednesday.
