In a program organized in BSF camp to celebrate the festival, local women's organizations and school and college students tied Rakhi on the wrists of soldiers of the BSF.
On this auspicious day, sisters tie a sacred thread called "Rakhi" around their brothers' wrists, symbolising their love, care, and protection. In return, the brothers give gifts, and blesses their sisters.
