The critically acclaimed film Rapture by award-winning director Dominic Megam Sangma is set to be screened in Shillong from 7th to 11th November, 2024.

The movie does not allow time for respite, not even for a piece of popcorn. Right from the word go, spectators panted and gasped as the characters in the movie ran into the house, ran outside the house, “katroro katjojo” spread out in the forest looking for lost fellow villagers.

Garo Hills based film director Dominic Sangma has once again shined at the big stage by winning the Best Director Critic Choice Award for his movie Rapture (Rimdogittanga) at the Indian Film Festival Melbourne, Australia.

It was a special Independence Day for the people of Tura, as the highly anticipated film Rapture threw the audience into a state of rapture during its maiden screening at Tura Auditorium.

The Garo film ‘Rapture’, directed by Dominic Sangma, which has garnered an overwhelming amount of international acclaim, is set for home release in Tura on August 15.
