Chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW), Rekha Sharma on Monday said generally the women of the north-eastern region are safer than women from other parts of the country.
Chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW), Rekha Sharma, along with a high-level delegation, will be in Shillong city from the July 7 - 9 to participate in a workshop and regional conference on promoting entrepreneurship among indigenous women based on non-timber forest produce.
