The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K Sangma, condemned the incident in Rongmil area, East Garo Hills, on April 17, in which three Assam youths’ bodies were found burnt beyond recognition.
The All Assam Minority Students Union (AAMSU) has demanded compensation for the families of the three victims who were murdered and buried in Rongmil, in Meghalaya's East Garo Hills, on April 16.
On April 17, three charred bodies of youth from Assam’s Goalpara were recovered from Rongmil in East Garo Hills, which was partially buried and their vehicles burnt down.
