Due to scorching heat and temperatures above normal in Kamrup Metro district , school timings have been changed in Guwahati and adjoining areas of Kamrup. Metro district , a government notification says the timings have been changed in the interest of public wellbeing due to continuous rise of Mercury level and prevailing scorching heat.
