In a bid to unearth football talent hidden in the farthest corners of the state, the Risyon Sport Club launched the Risyon Gift Grassroots Initiative Football Tournament on September 15 at Mawlong village in Ri Bhoi District.
The 7th edition of the East Khasi Hills Badminton Championship organized by the East Khasi Hills District Badminton Association concluded here on Saturday. Altogether, 120 shuttlers participated in the event ranging from boys, girls, women and men categories respectively.
