In an effort to delve into as well as propagate the knowledge on the richness of Garo cultural heritage, a symposium focused on the themes of Nokachik (architecture), Garments and Ornaments, and Deities was held on Friday.
The objective of the Symposium was dissemination of correct and authentic information by Resource Persons on basic elements of Garo Culture. The talks centred around primary aspects of the culture of the Garos such as Matriliny, Nokmaship, Nokpante and Wangala.
