The students of various schools are agitating for the second day on Wednesday against the kidnapping and killing of two young students, including a girl, who went missing on July 6 and whose photographs went viral on social media on Monday.

The notification has been issued by Manipur Home Department Commissioner T. Ranjit Singh. The notification stated that to thwart the design and activities of anti-national and anti-social elements and to maintain peace and communal harmony and to prevent any loss of life or danger to public/private property, it has become necessary to take adequate measures to maintain law and order.
