After ABVP Meghalaya caused controversy that only a particular community was recruited in the unreserved category for the post of assistant teachers for government lower primary schools under Dadanggre subdivision, alleging that the tribal candidates were ignored, the documents have revealed that in total 192 candidates were selected with SC/ST and the Khasi/Garo having separate lists. The Khasi/Garo list alone contains names of 147 candidates.
