In a push to strengthen Meghalaya’s emerging textile and apparel ecosystem, an executive programme on kidswear garment construction was inaugurated at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Shillong on Monday.
State Textiles Minister Paul Lyngdoh expressed immense pride and optimism over the achievement. “It is very good, welcome news for our weavers, artisans, and the entire Department of Textiles,” he said during a press briefing on Friday.
