The city of Shillong has witnessed an alarming surge in two-wheeler thefts over the past few weeks, leaving residents and authorities on high alert. Reports indicate that the incidence of stolen two-wheelers has reached unprecedented levels, especially in and around Shillong.
Shillong’s very own two-wheeler services, run and managed by a local group called — Jaiaw Ehrngiew Transport Society (JETS 24X7), was officially launched on Saturday.
