National People’s Party (NPP) leader and cabinet minister Comingone Ymbon on Friday predicted that the opposition Voice of the People Party (VPP) will get ‘zero’ in the upcoming elections to the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council and Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council.
In a statement, VPP spokesperson Dr Batskhem Myrboh said that the Government of India on June 26, 2023 had issued an order for the release of the 1st instalment of first tranche of Central Assistance towards the material component for the year 2023-24 to the state of Meghalaya amounting to Rs 301.94 crores.
