In a big development, Dibrugarh police arrested Nipen Das, Superintendent of Central Jail, Dibrugarh on Thursday night in connection with the objectionable materials found in the cell of Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh and his nine associates, who were lodged in Dibrugarh Central jail.
One more supporter of 'Waris Punjab De', who was lodged in Dibrugarh Central Jail has been sent to Assam Medical College and Hospital for checkup and treatment after his health deteriorated due to hunger strike.
