Guwahati, April 25: It is not yet confirmed that Waris Punjab De Chief Amrit Pal Singh will contest the Lok Sabha Election. The father of Amrit Pal Singh and his uncle told the media that they couldn’t discuss the matters with Amrit Pal Singh properly today because of strictness of the Jail authorities.

They said that they will meet the Dibrugarh District Commissioner tomorrow regarding the non -cooperation attitude of the Dibrugarh Central Jail authorities. They could meet only for a few moments and therefore couldn’t discuss the election matter properly.

So, they didn’t confirm the information shared by the advocate Rajdeo Singh Khalsa. They said that they will come back again after a week to discuss the matter with Amrit Pal Singh.

Amritpal Singh, who is also the chief of ‘Waris Punjab De’, a pro-Khalistan outfit, is lodged in Dibrugarh central jail, Assam, under the National Security Act.
