A Two Day “Skillerate Connect” was organised by the Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) under the Department of Labour, Employment and Skill Development in the West Garo Hills District at Matchakolgre L P School Playground, New Tura on 22nd February 2024.
Hectic preparations are fully on with hosts, the West Garo Hills District administration, working overtime putting in place final touches as Tura prepares to receive the President on her maiden visit to Garo Hills.
Apart from the workshops, competitions will also be held on the last day of the event. The participants participating in the workshops will compete amongst each other in their own disciplines, and awards will also be given to the winners.
A mesmerizing symphony echoed through the hallowed halls of the District Auditorium in Tura, as the West Garo Hills District Administration joined hands with Meghalaya Tourism to present an unforgettable music event to the public.
