The World Bank has approved a $225.5 million project aimed at improving forest management and enhancing forest-based value chains across over 400 villages in Tripura and Nagaland, benefiting more than 700,000 people.
World Bank will partner with Samagra Shiksha, Assam (SSA) in a project titled “Supporting School Education in Assam” to foster a set of leader schools by implementing systemic changes recommended by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The Sikkim Integrated Service Provision and Innovation for Reviving Economies Program (INSPIRES), supported by the World Bank, aims to transition the state's economy from traditional farming to emerging sectors such as IT/ITeS, tourism (including homestays and farm stays), creative design, environmental conservation, and the care economy.
