The Assam Forest Department celebrated the state-level World Environment Day on Wednesday evening at Luki Reserve Forest under Singra Range in Boko. Senior officials graced the occasion, especially Spl Chief Secretary (Forest) Mr. MK Yadava and Principal Chief Conservator of Forest & Hoff R.P Singh.
A plantation program was organised, where dignitaries along with the students took part and planted around 400 saplings throughout the campus to commemorate the day.
