North Garo Hills district joins in the world - wide celebration of World Water Day, a programme which was observed by the department of Public Health Engineering, DWSM, JJM, RWS Division, Resubelpara at Mendipathar Cooperative Society Hall on Friday.
The Department of Public Health Engineering (PHE), observed the World Water Day 2024 at the U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong. The theme for World Water Day this year is ‘Water for Peace’.

The Office of the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering, Ampati, in collaboration with the District Sports Office, South West Garo Hills Ampati, proudly organized the World Water Day Run on Thursday. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of water conservation and promote a healthy lifestyle among the community.
The Public Health Engineering Department, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya organized a 10km Marathon Run with the theme "Water For Peace",at the Matchakolgre LP School Playground, New Tura to spread awareness on water conservation. The run was a part of the World Water Day celebration 2024.
