Resubelpara, July 8: PRIME Meghalaya successfully organized the first-ever pop-up sale event, “The Mini Bazaar,” in Resubelpara.
This one-day event witnessed an overwhelming response from the community, with a large number of customers flocking to the stalls and making purchases.
“The Mini Bazaar” aimed to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs from Garo Hills, particularly in the North Garo Hills region, to showcase their brands, gain visibility, engage in entrepreneurial exchange, and foster relationships with fellow entrepreneurs for potential future collaborations and customers.
The event saw the participation of a total of 31 local entrepreneurs, each offering unique products across various sectors such as handicrafts, food and beverages, desserts, wood carvings, handmade accessories, soaps, handmade toys, macrame products, flowers, and more. The diverse range of stalls created a vibrant atmosphere, providing visitors with a delightful shopping experience.
Beyond the commercial aspect, “The Mini Bazaar” also featured young musicians and local artists who are students from various schools and colleges in the North Garo Hills region. Their performances added a touch of creativity and entertainment to the event.
The support and enthusiasm displayed by the residents of Resubelpara contributed to the resounding success of the pop-up sale. Their patronage and participation made the day eventful and paved the way for potential growth in local entrepreneurship.
