The Revolution MMA felicitates winners of MMA National Championship

Shillong May 30: Ferdy School of Martial Arts (The Revolution MMA), Shillong on Monday felicitated the four medalists of The Cage Fight National MMA Championship organized by the Chainaba, The Cage Fight MFL-5, which was held at Imphal, Manipur on May 28 this year.

The Championship was organized in collaboration with the Kangleipak Mixed Martial Arts Club (KMMAC) 7 Clan, and the Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India.

Kisan Bareh won the Bantam Weight Pro Title Belt, for MMA Pro Cage Fight.

Juh Pa U Juh Nongtdu bagged Gold Medal for Kickboxing K1 Pro flyweight 56.7 Kg while Fivestar Bareh bagged silver medal.

Daniella I Wanda Mylliemngap also bagged silver medal for Kickboxing K1 Pro, 52 Kg Straw weight, Female category.

Speaking to the media person after the ceremony, the Head Coach of the Team Revolution MMA (Shillong), Ferdinand Suchiang said that the felicitation is a small token of appreciation and encouragement for the team to work hard and put their best.

Though in sports there is always a win or loss, but the hard work and dedication of the team members has never failed to bring home medals from any competitions, added Suchiang.

Kisan Bareh, winner of Pro Title Belt, said that it is a great opportunity to be able to take part in the National Level and a huge experience to get fight with the well trained and dedicated teams across the country.

“I am delighted to be able to participate in the National Championship,” said Fivestar Bareh, Silver Medalist of Kickboxing K1 Pro, adding “though I lost and my opponents are strong, it is a great learning experience and encouragement for me to work even harder.”
