Tura, Dec 11: The Tura Motor Sports Club (TMSC) successfully wrapped up its road safety seminar at Don Bosco College, Tura, with a focus on raising awareness about safe driving practices and regulations.
Twilight T Sangma, the Enforcement Inspector of the district, delivered a presentation on road safety rules, the significance of driving licenses, and penalties for violations, contributing to enhanced awareness. Challang G Momin, the Additional Superintendent of Police, in-Charge Traffic, West Garo Hills, spoke on the police’s role in ensuring road safety, sharing insights into challenges faced by law enforcement.
Adding a musical touch to the event, Amva Daldy Chillary T Sangma showcased her talent, enhancing the overall experience of the seminar.
Expressing gratitude for the support it received from various quarters, TMSC thanked Fr. Bivan Mukhim, the Principal of Don Bosco College, for providing the venue and facilitating student participation, Dr. Arindam Ghosh, Department of Physics, for his pivotal role in organizing the seminar seamlessly, and to Hub News, a leading media house, for sponsoring creative materials and kits, including banners, posters, flyers, badges, and certificates for participants.
