Tura, May 28: The Super Division of the Tura Football League has reached its final stage as the first semi-final match will be played between Chipakkore FC against Selsella SA and the match will be held at the P. A. Sangma Stadium in Dakopgre, Tura.
The semi-finals are scheduled to be held from June 1st.
Throughout both the 1st and 2nd phases, a total of 25 matches have been played among the 8 teams: Chipakkore FC, Selsella SA, West Balalgre Club, BOCA Juniors, Maram FC, Dadenggre YC, Druma Sandruma, and Garuda Foundation.
The league has seen a variety of events so far, with Chipakkore FC maintaining dominance at the top of the points table with 21 points, while Garuda Foundation remains at the bottom with zero points.
BOCA Juniors has secured the fourth spot in the league table with 11 points, just surpassing Maram FC, currently holding 10 points. This secures BOCA Juniors’ place as the fourth semi-finalist.
Three walkover wins have been recorded in the league so far, with Druma Sandruma failing to field their players twice and Garuda Foundation failing once, awarding their opponents easy victories.
Three semi-final matches will be played, with the first and second semi-finals among the top four contenders in the league table. The third semi-final match will be between the winner of SF-2 and the loser of SF-1. The final will feature the winner of SF-1 against the winner of SF-3.
