Imphal: In a tragic incident, the resident of Union Minister RK Ranjan Singh was set on fire by a mob of over 1000 on Thursday night.

Singh’s house is located at Kongba Nandeibam Leikai, Imphal East district.

Police sources said that mob also torched some cars and two wheelers which were parked in the compound.

When the incident took place, RK Ranjan and his family members were not present in the house.
