Aiming to shake up science, an exciting teacher training event on March 21st and 22nd was held in Shillong . The program, led by Agastya International Foundation along with Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan and Meghalaya’s Education Department, brought together teachers and officials keen on making science fun and practical.
The training focused on hands-on activities and making models inexpensively, giving teachers new ways to make science interesting for students. Officers from the education department and teachers from 12 schools joined in, showing a shared commitment to improving education.
Januka Devi Chettri, an experienced trainer from Sikkim working with Agastya International Foundation, led the sessions. She stressed the importance of creativity and practical lessons in teaching science.
