Ampati, Dec 28: The District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) successfully organized block-level programs as part of the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra for two consecutive days – Wednesday and Thursday – at Betasing C&RD Block and Rerapara C&RD Block.
The Betasing Block program, held at the block headquarters in Betasing MFC, was attended by key officials such as Central Prabhari Officer Sameer Pandey, IRS, and SWGH ADC & District Nodal Officer, VBSY, RZD Shira. The event saw active participation from various line departments and agencies, including Health, PHE (JJM), MSRLS, Food and Civil Supplies Department and more.
In a similar vein, the program under Rerapara Block took place at BNRGSK Building, Gandhipara Garo. Sameer Pandey, IRS, and A Ch. Momin, BDO, Rerapara C&RD block, along with other block functionaries, led the engagement with representatives from Health, PHE (JJM), MSRLS, among others.
The Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, organized by DRDA, Betasing C&RD Block, and Rerapara C&RD Block, aims to inform and empower citizens about the Central Government’s flagship schemes and programs. Focused on reaching vulnerable populations, the campaign strives to raise awareness and facilitate the delivery of welfare schemes to target beneficiaries. The ongoing Yatra, part of the Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat campaign, is set to continue until January 26, 2024.
Speaking about the initiative, Sameer Pandey emphasized the government’s commitment to extending schemes and welfare programs to the remotest villages, highlighting that the Yatra serves as a crucial platform for achieving this goal.
RZD Shira, at Betasing Block, stressed the program’s main objective, ensuring all beneficiaries avail benefits from Central Government flagship schemes. The Medical Department conducted screenings for non-communicable diseases, contributing to the overall well-being of participants.
The Block Development Officer (BDO) of Betasing, CRN Sangma, welcomed participants and provided an insightful introduction to Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
In Rerapara Block, A Ch. Momin reiterated the program’s main objective, emphasizing its importance in reaching every last village and ensuring all target beneficiaries benefit from the central schemes.
As the Yatra progresses, the government’s commitment to inclusivity and welfare for all remains at the forefront.
