Guwahati, July 3: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is scheduled to visit Assam on Tuesday. He will be visiting the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Guwahati during the day-long visit to the state.

A release from the Vice-President’s Secretariat on Sunday stated, “The Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar will visit Assam on July 04, 2023 where he will be the Chief Guest at the 25th Convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. On his arrival at Guwahati, the Vice-President will visit the Kamakhya Temple to offer his prayers and have darshan”.

Dhankhar will be interacting with the students of the IIT.

Assam governor Gulab Chand Kataria and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be the guest of honor at the event.

After his arrival, he will first visit the Kamakhya Temple and offer prayers, it added.
