Aizawl, June 9: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) appointment Anil Shukla as the new Director General of Mizoram Police., succeeding Devesh Chandra Srivastava (IPS:1995: AGMUT).
Shukla’s appointment comes as a part of major reshuffling of officers within the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre.
He is currently posted as ADG AN&I(UT Administration).
Who is IPS Anil Shukla?
Anil Shukla is 1996 batch IPS officer.
He is an alumnus of Harvard Kennedy School with Masters’ in Public Policy.
He had led major investigations into several terror-related cases in Jammu and Kashmir, Pulwama attack and also in Sachin Waze case.
Shukla was also investigating into Antilla bomb threat, Mansukh Hiren murder & Anil Deshmukh’s corruption charges.
