Shillong, Sept 1: Three drug traffickers were arrested along with heroin from Madanrting on Thursday. Acting on a tip off, the district anti-narcotic task force (ANTF) arrested Ronald Laloo (24), Thangboi Paite (46) and Banphiralang Shabong (41) from Lumjingsuk, Block A, of Madanrting.

From their possession, 26.61 grams of heroin, cash of Rs 31,380, 4 mobile phones, 3 soap cases, 5 golden tin containers, 4 vials and 1 syringe, 1 TVS scooty and 1 i-10 car (red colour) were seized.

A case has been registered with the Madanrting police station.
