Guwahati, Mar 22: Assam Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), members at Guwahati held a protest on Friday demanding the release of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who was arrested on allegations of corruption linked to the city’s liquor policy.

Protestors were about to take out a rally from Ganeshguri to Janata bhawan but police stopped them on the way. There was a scuffle between the police and protesters.

During the protest they raised anti BJP government slogans. A protestor said that we are protesting here demanding the release of CM Arvind Kejriwal immediately.

AAP has announced nationwide protests over the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
