Guwahati, May 3: Mahima Singh who is AICC spokesperson and communications coordinator for Assam in a press conference lambasted the ruling party and stated that, “we all know that the Constitution rules the country, but in Assam it seems as if jungle rule and police rule is going on. The police can arrest anyone and put them in jail. There are no boundaries”. “Sangavidhan is not being used properly.”
Mahima stated that today marks one year of Manipur violence, but PM Modi did not go there, he did not listen to anyone, Modi was silent even in the Parliament. But Modi visited other places in the country, she further alleged.
Our question to the BJP government is that if every Indian opposes the BJP, will they be sent to jail, will bulldozers be used against us. Will we not be able to stay safe in our homes? Questioned Mahima Singh.
Mahima Singh also presented a report on the issue regarding what work the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government has done in the last 10 years.
