Guwahati, June 4: In a tragic incident, an employee of the Assam State Electricity Board (ASEB) reportedly died off electrocution while attempting to fix a faulty electrical wiring issue inside a factory on Sunday.

According to reports, the incident is said to have occured in Rangia’s Bangalikuchi locality in Kamrup district.

The deceased has been identified as Hamidur Rahman.

Soon after the incident, the locals rushed Rahman to a nearby hospital but doctors declared him dead.

Sources said that Rahman was repairing the electrical wiring inside the factory without disconnecting the electricity which resulted to electrocution.
