Boko, Nov 12: A video of a Class I student from Bhogdabari Primary School in Boko singing the evergreen Assamese song “Mayabini” has gone viral on social media, drawing widespread appreciation from viewers across the region.
The child’s melodious rendition has not only showcased young talent but also brought renewed attention to the historic institution.
Established in 1942 during the British colonial period, Bhogdabari Primary School holds a special place in the educational landscape of rural Assam.
Located in Bhogdabari village, which is predominantly inhabited by the Bodo community, the school has served generations of learners for over eight decades.
Founded at a time when access to education was limited, the institution became a beacon of learning and empowerment for the local population.
