Guwahati, Mar 15: The Trinamool Congress has released the names of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Assam, releasing a list for four parliamentary seats.
Gauri Shankar Sarania has been named as the contender for the Kokrajhar(ST) seat. Meanwhile, Abdul Kalam Azad will represent TMC in Barpeta, Ghana Kanta Chutia in Lakhimpur, and Radhashyam Biswas in Silchar(SC) seat.
The Trinamool Congress has expressed gratitude for the guidance and inspiration of Mamata Banerjee, after they announced their candidates for the Assam Lok Sabha constituencies.
With the TMC still struggling to hold footprints in Assam Politics, this announcement marks a significant step in their preparation for the polls, as they aim to secure representation from Assam in the Indian Parliament.
