The teachers demanded the VC to call for a special/emergency meeting of the Academic Council to discuss the inappropriate implementation of the NEP 2020 at the UG (Under Graduate) level in the affiliated colleges of NEHU without the approval of the Academic Council.
Sources informed that the student, an MBA student of the Department of Agri Business Management in NEHU, was dragged out of his room in Arbella Boys’ Hostel at the campus at Chasingre at around 1 – 1.30 AM on October 8, 2023, and taken to the basement.
