Shillong, Jan 19: A delegation from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), headed by State President Rikman G Momin and Cabinet Minister A. L. Hek, visited His Grace Archbishop Victor Lyngdoh at the Shillong Archdiocese’s Bishop House.
The delegation presented the Revered Akshat and an invitation for the Shree Ram Mandir. His Grace expressed eagerness to visit the revered Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and extended his blessings for the auspicious occasion.

It must be noted that the idol of Ram Lalla was brought inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Wednesday night.
According to Shri Ram Mandir Construction Committee chairperson Nripendra Mishra a special puja was held in the sanctum sanatorum before the idol was brought inside.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the January 22 ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram temple, which is expected to be opened to the public the next day.
Meanwhile, the consecration ceremony will begin at 12:20 pm and is expected to be completed by 1 pm on January 22.
