BJP leader and ex CEM of GHADC resigns

Tura, March 25: The BJP has suffered a substantial blow in the Garo Hills with its senior leader and state vice president Dipul R Marak resigning from the party on Monday.

Dipul Marak was earlier the chief executive member of the GHADC. He switched to the BJP after being denied a ticket by the NPP in the last council elections but faced defeat. His attempt in last year’s assembly polls from Rangsakona also proved unsuccessful.
