“So we are hoping to resolve the issues related to shortage of water supply faced by the people of Tura town,” he said.

On the Tura Water Supply Scheme, the minister said that the project was affected due to the drying up of water sources during the lean season.

“We also have an electricity problem because of which we cannot pump water from the river Ganol. These are the main issues why we are facing shortages of water in Tura town,” he added.
