Tura, May 31: The three day long programme 20th-21st AIPC Mega Convention at Tura concluded on May 28th with nearly 200 delegates (Poets & Writers) in attendance from all over India.
The Mega Convention was held from May 26 to 28, 2022.
North Tura MLA Thomas A Sangma graced the function as Chief Guest, while former Director of Tourism, Arts & Culture and Fisheries, Crisline T Sangma (Retd MCS), was the Special Guest. Both Guests spoke on the dire need to preserved our Mother Tongue.
The Programme was organised by All India Poetess Conference (AIPC) in collaboration with Garo Deptt, NEHU Tura, A’chik Literature Society and Sahitya Akademi Delhi.
Various States also show-cased their traditional songs and dances in the Cultural programme, and the AIPC Souvenir and Books were released on the first day.
