Williamnagar, 20 Jan: The son of congress candidate and ex MLA Debora Marak has been arrested by Williamnagar police for his alleged involvement in an accident in which his vehicle dashed against a scooty driver killing him on Tuesday night.

According to official reports, the incident happened outside Williamnagar super market area at around 9:30 PM.

The congress candidate’s son Ruchil C Marak was reportedly driving at high speed when his white hyndai i20 car dashed against Sengsrang B Marak who was riding a scooty.

The victim was rushed to the nearby civil hospital but died of his wounds. Police have compounded the vehicle and arrested 28 year old Ruchil Marak.
