Tura, Jan 22: The Tura Thakurbari Mandir committee orchestrated a vibrant procession on Monday morning, leading a march from Thakurbari to Tura Bazar in celebration of the upcoming inauguration of the Ram Mandir. Over 250-300 individuals actively participated in the event, showcasing their enthusiasm and support for the occasion.
During the procession, devotees were seen dressed in colourful attires and holding saffron flags sang devotional songs in praise of Lord Ram amid the beating of drums.
Later in the evening, the Thakurbari Mandir committee has scheduled the distribution of Maha Prasad at Babupara Natya Samity, offering a shared feast to commemorate the special occasion.
It must be noted that people across India and abroad woke up to the chants of Jai Shri Ram on Monday morning, ahead of the Ram temple idol consecration ceremony in Ayodhya city of Uttar Pradesh.
Ayodhya, the revered temple town, is all set to welcome Lord Ram as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to partake in the consecration ceremony at the newly erected Ram Mandir on Monday. The ceremony, encompassing the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the idol of Ram Lalla, the childhood manifestation of Lord Ram, will draw attendees from diverse backgrounds. Representatives of major spiritual and religious sects, various tribal communities, and notable personalities will join the event. Scheduled to commence at 12:20 pm, the ceremony, as per the temple’s trust, is anticipated to conclude by 1 pm. Subsequently, the prime minister will address the gathered audience.
