SHILLONG, MAY 31: Deputy Chief Minister incharge Urban Affairs Sniawbhalang Dhar has reviewed the progress of the construction of MTC project.
The project costing Rs 216 crore is being constructed at the Meghalaya Transport Corporation land at Khyndailad area.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Dhar said, “I reviewed the progress of the project yesterday.”
“You will see a new police bazaar (on completion of the project). It will be of Singapore standard,” he said.
He informed that the government is planning to have a hotel and other in the multipurpose building, which will be completed within two and a half years.
The office of the MTC has been shifted to Mawiong.
