Guwahati, Apr 2:Assam Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday took potshots at Congress and said those who speak against the BJP eventually end up joining the saffron outfit.

Talking to the reporters, Sarma said, “Don’t believe what Congress leaders say because those who talk more against BJP in television end up joining the BJP. One has to check the mobile phones of Congress leaders, if they are in touch with BJP or not,”.

“This time Congress in Assam has given candidates according to our choice,” Sarma said.

In another election rally at Karbi Anglong, Assam CM said the “central focus of this election is the re-election of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.
