Aizawl, Sept 18: Mizoram police on Sunday seized exotic wildlife species in Tuisenphai Checkgate under Khawzawl Police Station, Churachandpur, Mizoram.
There exotic wildlife species are suspected to be smuggled from Myanmar from the vehicle and possession of Vanlalrosiama, 25 years, and C. Liankunga, 52 years, both from Champhai District.
The rescued species include Spider Monkey (female with a baby) and 1 Indri Lemur.
The rescued endangered wild animals and the vehicle were handed over to Customs Preventive Force.
