TURA, Dec 22: Residents of Tura town have been advised to dispose off their garbage ahead of the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Chief Executive Officer of Tura Municipal Board, Smt. Rikse R Marak informed that there will be no garbage collection by the trucks of TMB on 25th December and January 1st and 2nd 2024.

All residents have been advised to dispose off their waste onto the garbage collection vehicles before 6 PM on December 24th and 31st.

Dumping of garbage onto roads well after the municipal trucks have completed their daily rounds in town has been a nuisance in many areas and authorities are urging the public to be conscious of the need to keep the town clean.
